Investigating, monitoring & planning your infrastructure
for the next generation of energy.

McKee Neutral.
The Process Explained.

1.
Establishing User Objectives
MA Neutral has been established specifically to help end users understand their existing infrastructure and how it can be best engineered to suit the changing energy climate. The entry stage of this process is to understand the end user’s objectives, from the implementation of electric vehicle charging, cost and energy savings or even transitioning away from gas to new technology.
2.
Understanding Existing Infrastructure
The next step along this journey is gaining an understanding as to how energy is currently being utilised and how the site is configured and operated. Information is obtained by McKee Neutral over either a short period (1 to 2 week) or a more permanent solution where our monitoring kit can be installed and left to monitor continuously. This with our bespoke data logging secure network, will give us and the client the real time information to assess the site. From this information we can build up a virtual load model, simulating the impact varying technologies could have on existing infrastructure.
3.
Possibilities & Practicalities
Depending on how the site energy load operates may determine which solution best suits each user. As part of the modelling and user profiles, we will also consider the options of energy storage so we gain the maximum at all times. From obtaining existing infrastructure data and modelling various solutions, options can then be presented using both short & long term cost forecasts as part of a feasibility report.
4.
Implementing the Optimum Solution
Taking the recommendations and cost options provided within the feasibility report, we would then assist with the procurement of formal quotations for both design and infrastructure alterations. Onward design development beyond the feasibility stage would be undertaken by McKee Associates Ltd (building services consultants) under a separate agreement.

McKee Neutral.
Consultation.

Step one to every project that we undertake is a Comprehensive Consultancy Phase.

This includes an initial site survey, followed by a series of project assessments that fall in line with
ACE & RAMS guidelines. Once complete we present an in-depth report on all our findings.

Here is a list of all areas of Consultancy Assessments that we carry out at McKee Neutral.
  • Existing Building Assessment
  • Electrical Load Monitoring Assessment
  • Renewable Technologies Assessment
  • Building Fabric Thermal Assessments
  • PV Assessments
  • Battery Storage Assessments
  • Solar Thermal Assessments
  • ASHP Assessments
  • Hydro Assessments
  • Wind Power Assessments
  • Cost Analysis Assessment
  • Electric Vehicle Implementation Assessment
  • New Applications Assessments
  • ROI Assessments
